Skin Diving Equipment

how the following equipment helps you skin dive:-mask -fins-snorkel -wetsuit ?
and what materials are made in each of the equipments construction?

In skin diving, I will make the assumption that you are referring to SCUBA or snorkeling.
Mask = gives you a clearer vision underwater, these can have prescription lens installed in them. made from a silicone rubber
Fins = Gives you more speed in the water (make sure they are not too big for you to kick with) Generally a rubber product
Snorkel = allows you to breathe while face down in the water (When you dive down, it will fill with water that you will blow out when you surface.) Plastic and silicone
Wet suit = helps keep you warm in the water, these come in several thicknesses (I have about 5 different ones for year round diving) generally neoprene.
